About Superview Wine

Featuring a vineyard of 23 hectares, Chateau de Beauregard is located in the heart of the appellation at Puy Notre Dame and Cremant de Loire.

With a history that dates back to 1593, the current neo-Gothic mansion standing today was built in the 19th century.

The 23-ha land comprises two islands of 10 ha each. The first island features clay-limestone soil that rests on a very thick base of chalk tufa, one of the best soils in the region. Producing complex wines with great delicacy is made possible with this terroir.

The second island has one of the hottest and driest climates in the Loire Valley, and showcases a flint clay tray and chalky subsoil, making it ideal for producing the grape varieties, Cabernet and Chenin.

With several km of cellars dug in the tufa, and a constant temperature of 12 °C, the slow maturation of the wines is achievable, thus guaranteeing high-quality products. The conditions are especially optimal for the preparation of fine bubbles found in our sparkling wines like Saumur Brut and Crémant.

Concerned with an authentic viticulture, Château de Beauregard adheres to the charter of the independent winemaker who:

  • Respects his terroir
  • Works his vineyard
  • Harvests his grapes
  • Vinifies and raises his wine
  • Develops his brand
  • Bottles his production in his cellar
  • Markets its products
  • Perfected in respect of tradition
  • Welcomes, advises the tasting and takes pleasure in presenting his work and culture

At Chateau de Beauregard, we practise sustainable agriculture ─ vines are grassed. In addition, we do not use chemical fertilisers, and opt to apply prudent treatments against any diseases with regards to the vines. Check out our wines here.
